How Craving Island was founded

The Journey Behind Craving Island's Creation

Craving Island was started by 2 lifelong friends since high school - one, a former trading company professional with deep knowledge of Japan’s snack industry ; the other, a long-time US resident who rediscovered the magic of Japanese treats while living abroad.

We’d always talk about our passion on Japanese snacks, and soon turned into an idea. What if we could bring the joy of Japanese snacks to the world - not only famous one, but the hidden gems too?
